GCI will be adding another tool to our programs by the end of Q2, 2007 that we call "Spend in
Good Conscience." Under this program, GCI will be able to link any credit, debit or gift card
directly to a charity so that purchases made with linked cards will not only buy goods and
services for the cardholders but also add negotiated donations to the cardholder's designated
charities. For example, a double mocha latte and a fresh baked cookie bought at your favorite
coffee shop might generate a few cents for charity; or, your next large lumber or appliance
purchase at the local "big box" hardware store could add a generous donation to your favorite
NFP's programs. This capability will enable not-for-profit organizations, many of which are not
large enough to obtain branded affinity credit cards, to benefit from global credit card
transactions. When this feature is available NFP's will just need to encourage their benefactors
to go to 'your_name'.goodconscience.net site and click on Spend. In a few simple steps cardholders
will be enrolled by the issuing bank, and every time the card is used the cardholder's registered
charitable organization will automatically receive a donation
